Join the Western Colorado Mycological Association for a relaxed and joyful weekend in the high country at Yeoman Park Campground, nestled at the top of Brush Creek Road.
This is not a guided workshop or structured retreat — it’s a self-organized, community-style camping experience for those who love mushrooms, music, and the great outdoors.
We’ve timed this Family Camp to coincide with the Eagle Mushroom and Wild Food Festival, happening all weekend just down the road at the Brush Creek Pavilion — including free live music Friday night with Sweet Jessup & the Dirty Buckets!
🍻🎶 🌲 Here’s what to expect: Casual group forays, shared meals, and spontaneous fireside hangs A community kitchen setup — bring your own food + gear, and join the cooking fun if you like Wild mushroom talk, nature walks, music jams, and space to just be Rustic camping in one of Colorado’s most beautiful alpine valleys
🎒 What you’ll need to bring: All your own camping gear, cookware, eating tools, and food Weather-ready clothing — you’re in the Rockies, after all Curiosity, collaboration, and a love of fungi! Whether you're rolling in solo, bringing your family, or gathering your myco-crew, this is a space for connection, not perfection.
